Skillful and dedicated educator and researcher with extensive experience in the coordination and planning of classes and labs.  Expertise in the development of scientific research proposals.  Dedicated member of various university committees including the Engineering Faculty Council, ABET Accreditation, Community Outreach, and Strategic Planning committees.  Industry consultant adept at translating  the concepts of industrial and biomedical engineering into real-world solutions required for improving products, quality, and streamlining production.  Current fields of research include among others:

• Biomedical sensor research and design / Biosensor miniaturization and fabrication
• Cell and Molecular Engineering / Biomaterial and polymer research.
• Nanotechnology applications in biomedical diagnostics and therapeutics
• Developing point-of-care diagnostics for reduced cost and increased accessibility
• Advancement of educational quality and science & engineering educational outreach.
• Industry consultant for product R&D, quality, and operations research.
